The Tricount alternative for groups that change part-way through.
Repartim splits each expense among the people who were actually there, and divides a rental by night when somebody arrives late. It is free, with receipt scanning included and no ads.

When Tricount is the better pick.
If everybody shares every expense from start to finish, both tools do the same job, and Tricount does some things Repartim deliberately doesn't.
- A trip across several currencies, kept in one group
- Adding expenses somewhere with no signal, to sync later
- Groups that bank with bunq and want their card payments to come in as expenses
Moving an open balance over.
There's no import, and there doesn't need to be: what matters from Tricount is who owes whom right now, and that fits in one expense.
- Create an event and add the same people
- Add one expense per person who is owed money, paid by them, for the people who owe them, with the amounts Tricount shows
- Share the link. Everything from here on is added as it happens, and settling up clears the old balance along with the new one
FAQ
Things people ask.
What does Repartim do that Tricount doesn't?
It knows who was there. Say that two friends arrived on Thursday and everything after that is split among all of you, while the apartment paid on day one is divided by night, so the late arrivals pay for the nights they stayed and no more.
Do my friends need to install an app?
No. They open the link you share, in whatever browser their phone has, say who they are and start adding expenses. Repartim can be added to the home screen, but nobody has to.
Can I import my tricounts?
Not automatically. Carry over what is still owed with one expense per person who is owed money, as described above, and start the rest fresh.
Is Repartim available in Spanish and Catalan?
Yes. The whole app is in English, Spanish and Catalan, and everybody in an event sees it in their own language.
