The story
Why this exists.
I'm Roger Campos. I'd been doing back-of-napkin math at restaurants for years, and the existing bill-splitting apps all wanted accounts, kept asking for upgrades, or made the simple thing complicated. So I built Repartim — the version I wanted.
It does one thing: takes a receipt, takes a list of people, and tells everyone what they owe. The receipt scanner is the part that saves the most time. The shareable link is the part that means nobody has to install anything.
It's free because the problem is small enough that it shouldn't cost money to solve. The infrastructure is cheap; the tool exists; you can use it.
How it stays free
Honestly, it just does.
No ads, no upsell, no payment processor wired up. The cost to run is low and the problem is worth solving.
No paid tier exists
There's no Pro plan, no monthly subscription, no per-scan charge. Nothing to upsell because nothing is held back.
